Job summary

Marotta Controls in Chaska, MN is seeking a Quality Engineer III to support program quality initiatives and monitor quality performance across Supply Chain and internal development and production. The role leads root cause analysis and corrective actions, driving continuous improvement and liaison with customers and senior management.

The position requires strong engineering background, excellent problem solving, and ability to present results; travel up to 10% may be required in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in quality-related function; data analysis and procedure writing preferred.
• Experience interpreting Military, Commercial aircraft and Space level specs and standards.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures from industry and aerospace specifications.
• Investigate and resolve production problems in a team environment.
• Represent Quality for programs/customers and coordinate FAI activities.
• Review drawings for flowdowns and best practices; approve FAI.
