Job summary

Palomar Products is seeking a Quality Engineer III to lead quality initiatives across manufacturing and product development. You will interface with program management, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

You will apply lean practices, perform audits, analyze data, and develop corrective actions. Some travel (up to 25%) may be required, and a BS in engineering is required with 10+ years of QA experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in an Engineering or technical discipline; Masters preferred.
• 10+ years in quality assurance engineering in manufacturing or product development.
• Experience with inspection tools and methods; ASQ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions; coordinate actions with affected teams.
• Oversee internal audits of product, process, and QMS; drive corrective actions.
• Develop and update Quality Procedures and Work Instructions; train staff.
