Job summary

MSR Technology Group in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Senior Program Quality Engineer for an onsite contract role. You will partner with program teams, customers, suppliers, and internal quality groups to drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across aerospace programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of quality engineering in aerospace, hands-on RCCA/CAPA, FAI/AS9102, and a proven track record with AS9100, lean methods, and cross-functional leadership to ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant quality engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Hands-on RCCA, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, 8D, and 5 Whys.
• Experience with FAI / AS9102.
• Aerospace, aviation, or advanced manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing and/or design processes.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with program teams and customers to develop and implement proactive quality strategies.
• Lead RCCA, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead and support FAI / AS9102 reviews.
• Support customer, internal, and third-party quality audits.
• Drive quality, cost, and schedule improvements through CoPQ, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
• Review customer requirements, drawings, purchase orders, and corrective action requests.
• Support risk mitigation, change management, and quality compliance activities.
• Analyze and present quality data, findings, and recommendations to leadership and customers.

Senior Program Quality Engineer - Aerospace

Job Type: Contract

Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Quality Engineer with strong aerospace/manufacturing quality experience. This role will partner with program teams, customers, suppliers, and internal quality organizations to drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with program teams and customers to develop and implement proactive quality strategies.
• Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead and support First Article Inspection (FAI) / AS9102 reviews.
• Support customer, internal, and third-party quality audits.
• Drive quality, cost, and schedule improvements through CoPQ, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
• Review customer requirements, drawings, purchase orders, and corrective action requests.
• Support risk mitigation, change management, and quality compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leading customer audits.
• Experience with Change Boards and configuration/change management.
• Experience translating contractual and system requirements into product, assembly, and test documentation.
