Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Assurance professional with extensive experience in automotive quality systems. You will lead PPAP submissions, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives, while coaching staff and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product conformity.

The role emphasizes strong problem solving, APQP/MSA/FMEA/PPAP/SPC use, and adherence to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards within a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of related experience; or 3 years with a Master’s; PhD option.
  • CQE certification preferred.
  • Lead auditor IATF/ISO 9001 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads quality projects or processes with minimal supervision.
  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals.
  • Supports continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Applies advanced analytical/problem solving to develop solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interfaces with customers for PPAP submissions, audits, and complaints.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
