Job summary

The Headhunters, LLC is assisting a large industrial manufacturer in the Louisville area to hire a Sr. Quality Engineer who will raise the bar for their most profitable facility. You will plan and execute quality initiatives focused on continuous improvement, including problem solving and data analysis.

Key duties include APQP/PPAP, IATF audits, customer liaison, and leading corrective action processes. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 2+ years of quality experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and related processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute quality initiatives for continuous improvement, including problem solving and data analysis.
• Act as liaison between the customer and manufacturing team.
• Handle customer concern management, corrective action requests, and MRB activities.
• Participate in PPAP, PSO, and related requirements.

Our firm has been exclusively engaged by a large industrial manufacturer in the Louisville area who is a major automotive supplier on strong footing. They're seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer who wants to help raise the bar for their most profitable manufacturing facility.

Position Description

In this role, you will plan and execute quality initiatives for continuous improvement. This includes problem solving, data analysis, and other continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and analyzing issues, then providing solutions related to quality.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and manufacturing team.
• Handle customer concern management, the corrective action request process, customer/internal change requests, and material review board activities.
• Participate in PPAP, PSO, and other similar requirements.
• IATF audits (internal and external).

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, and other related processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to work with people at all levels.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites for audits (less than 10%).

Compensation:

$95-120K/year base salary plus bonus.

This is a direct-hire position, with a full benefit package.
