Quality Assurance Engineer – Integrated Living, Inc.

Location: Louisville, KY

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Address problem areas and oversee corrective action programs, establish and review annual quality improvement plans, and perform continuous improvement in quality key metrics.
• Ensure MSA, control plans, part inspection, capability studies, and customer PPAP are executed on time and to proper detail.
• Develop key customer relationships in the supplier quality area for successful product launches.
• Build internal relationships to remove roadblocks and resolve issues for product launches.
• Develop QA resource budgets and staffing needs, participate in the interview process, and add resources as required.
• Develop and execute individual development plans and performance reviews for each QA member.
• Actively participate in program reviews and phase exit reviews.
• Prepare a monthly assessment of all QE deliverables for programs within the area of responsibility.
• Lead advanced quality planning, including quality and control plan standards, FMEA, PPAPs, dimensional layouts, gauge/fixture design, and performance/material testing.
• Apply advanced statistical concepts, designs of experiments, and problem‑solving methodology.
• Lead quality functions within the area of responsibility, providing direct leadership to quality engineers.
• Provide overall leadership to a large area of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in industrial or automotive engineering and at least 4 years of professional experience in auto/industrial manufacturing or related fields.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO/TS 16949:2009.
