Barry-Wehmiller Paper Converting Machine Company in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead corrective actions for manufacturing and supplier quality issues. You will analyze problems across welding, machining, assembly, and testing, and drive containment and root-cause actions onsite.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document quality performance, and coach leaders in RCCA using 3 Legged 5 Why to implement permanent corrective actions.

The Quality Engineer will investigate, analyze, and lead corrective action for a wide variety of manufacturing and process issues related to our internal and external suppliers of parts and components. This position will collaborate with other departments, to resolve issues, prevent recurrence, and continuously improve quality culture and sustained product quality. This position is located in Green Bay, WI. This position will be required to be onsite full-time in Green Bay, WI. We are open to candidates that are interested in relocating to Green Bay.
This position does not directly supervise other associates.
Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards Travel by air or car occasionally.
