Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking an experienced business professional to join the Electric Corrective Action Program and Cause Evaluation team. This role develops and executes high-quality cause evaluations and corrective action strategies to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and improve performance.

Location is flexible within PG&E service territory and will require occasional travel to other areas.

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
10 years of progressive experience in utility operations or other regulated industry.
4 years of experience with causal evaluation methods and investigations.
Travel throughout the service territory 10-30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead and support complex Cause Evaluations and CAP activities to identify causes and address issues.
Conduct high-complexity investigations using structured methodologies.
Analyze data to identify trends, risk drivers, and corrective actions.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop effective corrective action plans.
Provide guidance, training, and quality oversight on CAP requirements.
Develop, monitor, and report quality metrics to improve CAP effectiveness.
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
