Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMS - Target Rock in East Farmingdale, NY is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to supervise manufacturing inspection and test functions and coordinate multiple test disciplines. You will interact with production, assembly, purchasing, quality engineering, and engineering to support scheduling, projects, and quality reviews.

The position requires ten years in manufacturing QC and an associate or higher with ten years of inspection supervisory experience; US citizenship is

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years’ experience in Manufacturing Quality Control.
• Associates Degree or High School diploma with ten (10) years inspection supervisory experience.
• Must be a U.S Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inspections in progress and ensures correct inspection methods are used.
• Assigns work to inspectors with proper training and knowledge to comply with procedures.
• Initiates cross training and initial training programs for manufacturing inspection.
• Reviews daily time charges, attendance and schedules overtime.
• Develops a work schedule for inspection locations and disciplines; reviews shop loading and obstacles.
• Maintains calibration activity and ensures correct procedures are used.
• Monitors NDE work loading and periodic reviews of performance and adherence to procedures.
• Interacts with customers and contract administrators; oversees final inspection schedules.
• Analyzes root causes of product and process deficiencies.
