Job summary

Ignite Digital seeks a highly experienced Quality Control Specialist IV to support DoD-related systems at a Norfolk, VA facility. You will lead quality assurance, engineering support, and technical oversight across complex projects within a C4ISR environment.

The role requires a hands-on problem solver with CAD skills and a strong background in testing, evaluation and design verification. U.S. government work and security requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related military/trade training.
• 10+ years of professional experience solving technical problems in engineering or software environments.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance (DoW Secret clearance level referenced as required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products, services, and processes meet established quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of equipment/systems to confirm safe and compliant operation.
• Interpret engineering plans and material specs; contribute to design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Prepare shop drawings and CAD models; support prototype/test article construction.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to engineering and software teams throughout lifecycles.
• Interface with government stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives and standards.
