Job summary

Ignite Digital seeks a highly experienced Quality Control Specialist IV to support operations at a Norfolk, VA government facility. This senior role drives quality assurance, engineering support, and technical oversight for complex DoD systems.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in testing, CAD support, and QA within C4ISR or related environments, aligned to mission objectives and government standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience solving technical problems in engineering or software environments.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Experience testing equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products, services, and processes meet established quality, safety, and performance standards.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of equipment/systems to confirm safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
• Interpret engineering plans, drawings, material specifications, and contribute to design and fabrication of test specimens.
• Prepare shop drawings, design models, and support prototype/test article construction using CAD tools.
• Provide advanced technical expertise to engineering and software teams throughout development and maintenance lifecycles.
• Support DoD C4ISR, logistics, maintenance, and business system initiatives through requirements analysis and quality verification.
• Develop and execute test plans, data analysis activities, operational requirement reviews, and training support.
• Interface with government stakeholders and project leads to ensure alignment with mission objectives and compliance standards.
• Apply recognized industry and public-sector leadership experience to guide quality assurance best practices.
