The role requires preparing and enforcing QC plans, developing mix designs, and coordinating with plant managers to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience supervising a quality control team.
• Heavy highway or construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs QC lab functions at assigned locations.
• Follows and revises QC plans; reads and understands specs.
• Manages QC personnel and training needs.
• Maintains QC lab equipment and supplies.
• Develops and approves mix designs to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Interprets customer requirements and translates them for teams.
• Implements best practices and conducts internal audits.
• Presents materials to various company groups and ensures safety.
