Job summary

Milestone Contractors LP is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QC lab functions and supervise technicians across locations. The role focuses on implementing QC plans, interpreting specifications, and driving continuous improvement in materials and processes.

The successful candidate will coordinate with estimating and plant managers, ensure safety standards, and promote best practices in quality control for asphalt, concrete, and aggregates at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in quality management or related field.
• 5+ years experience supervising individuals on a quality control team.
• Experience in heavy highway or construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs QC lab functions at assigned locations.
• Reads and understands technical specifications and follows QC plans.
• Manages QC personnel and ensures proper staffing for labs and field work.
• Maintains QC lab equipment and implements best practices.
• Develops and approves mix designs to maximize quality and minimize cost.
• Interprets customer requirements and translates technical information for meetings.
• Conducts internal process audits and promotes safe work environment.
• Collaborates with estimating and plant managers to determine aggregate sources.
• Ensures training needs are met and conducts on-the-job training.
