Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Indianapolis is seeking a Quality Control Technician (Inspection) to ensure parts meet drawings and standards, and to isolate non-conforming material. This on-site role reports to the Inspection Supervisor in the Quality and Regulatory Affairs department.

You will inspect incoming components, operate a CMM, and document results in quality databases. A high school diploma with 5+ years of experience and GD&T knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of part inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret part prints with GD&T fundamentals.
• Detail oriented and quality conscious with accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming components and materials according to inspection plans using hand gages as required.
• Operate CMM machines with predeveloped programs to inspect materials and document results.
• Record non-conformance data in databases and route disposition information to the relevant teams.
