Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Site Senior Quality Engineer for the Pecos, TX project, with initial work from Reston/Houston or on-site in Pecos. The role supports preconstruction planning, audits, and leading quality initiatives under the Project Quality Management System.

Travel to field sites may be required as the project moves forward. The candidate will lead or participate in audits, implement corrective actions, and help ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and best practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years relevant experience or 9-12 years total.
• Extensive quality management experience on CCGT projects.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and lead auditor experience.
• Strong analytical skills and KPI target setting.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Experience with audits and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the Project Quality Plan across disciplines.
• Plan, perform, and document audits and surveillances.
• Lead or participate in quality assignments and RCA.
• Monitor and report QMS implementation and effectiveness.
• Verify materials, workmanship, and code compliance.
• Coordinate with field engineers to resolve quality issues.
• Lead QMS orientation and develop metrics.
