As a Thunderbolt Solutions team member, you will use your creativity and innovation to conduct
quantitative analysis using operations research tools, economics, and other quantitative
techniques in the areas of procedural implementations and performance issues.
Thunderbolt Software is issuing contingent requisition to provide project management
support services for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Waterways Commerce Cutter (WCC) Project
Resident Office (PRO), located at Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Project management support services
shall include project management and administrative support, SharePoint technical and data
management support services, test, evaluation and quality assurance (QA) and logistics support
including post-delivery coordination.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support tracking of deficiency records and processes including but not limited to: Surveillance (Product Verification/Procedure Review), Test observation, Compartment Completion Inspection (CCI), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), Trial Cards, and project management records.
- Review the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and compare it to the IMS.
- Develop and maintain ship unique data and database for PRO deficiency record input into the TSM system.
- Support PRO personnel in maintaining the status of deficiency records from creation through closure in the TSM system.
- Preparation of weekly Test and Quality Assurance reports utilizing data available.
- Provide trial card status reports, metrics documenting trends in trial cards and document deficiency resolution in support of dock and sea trials.
- Maintain the ability to generate TSM documentation during pre-trial production inspection and test cycles.
- Maintain the ability to transfer current cutter, Quality CARs, and prior cutter(s) rollover trial card data into the TSM system.
- Assist PRO personnel with the creation of new trial cards using the TSM system.
- Assist PRO personnel with pre-screening and screening tests before, during and after trials required to support WCC production.
- Assist PRO personnel with the tracking, defect coding, and other applicable technical assistance on all trial cards through closure in the TSM system.
- Maintain a deployable mini-local area network and surge support for sea trials to all laptops and associated network infrastructure to support dock side and at-sea trials to record deficiencies in the TSM system.
- Attend meetings in relation to assigned tasks as designated by the COR. The Contractor shall attend and support program reviews as assigned.
- Support the Government in reviewing and analyzing the WCC production contractor’s Quality Assurance program.
- Qualifications/Capabilities for Senior Quality Assurance Specialist
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Knowledge of ship construction.
