Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, systems-minded Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to help us raise the bar on quality as our product suite and user base grow. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to lead our testing strategy, execute tests across the stack, and ensure our platform remains fast, reliable, and bug-free.

You should be comfortable writing and executing a mix of automated and manual tests. We’re on .NET 8 with a modern Azure cloud infrastructure. We’re looking for someone who’s both technically strong and deeply collaborative.

Detail-Oriented – You have a sixth sense for edge cases and inconsistencies. If something’s off, you’ll spot it before anyone else does.

Methodical Mindset – You approach testing like a scientist. You're curious, precise, and driven to understand how things work and why they break.

Adaptable – You’re comfortable working across manual and automated testing, jumping between web, API, and backend validation as needed.

Strong Communicator – You know how to clearly describe bugs, advocate for quality, and collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues.

Proactive Problem Solver – You don’t just raise red flags, you help solve them. You think a step ahead and contribute to continuous improvement across the stack.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong mix of manual and automated testing
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or xUnit
• Experience working in Azure-based environments and contributing to CI/CD pipelines (we use Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of modern testing strategies: unit, integration, regression, smoke, and performance
• A critical eye for edge cases and a methodical approach to breaking things before users do
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first team

What You Will Do

• Own the QA process for new features and releases across our web applications and backend systems
• Write and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements
• Perform exploratory and manual testing to uncover usability and edge-case issues
• Build and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar
• Test our REST APIs using tools like Postman to validate backend functionality and data integrity
• Collaborate with product and engineering to triage bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline testing and quality gate configuration within Azure DevOps
• Help establish and refine QA best practices, documentation, and metrics across the engineering team
• Advocate for quality across the organization, with a user-first mindset and strong attention to detail
