Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Lead Platform Automation Engineer for our client (a technology-forward financial services company that provides customizable credit, loyalty, and payments solutions) based in Plano, TX.

Compensation: Competitive pay rate of $80 per hour.
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
Duration: 6-month contract.
Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and consistent testing across the enterprise.
Serve as a technical leader, driving the definition and enforcement of testing standards, automation strategies, and best practices across the SDLC.
Design and implement solutions for test data management (generating, managing, and cleaning test data) and integrate testing tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to configure scalable testing environments and advocate for continuous improvements in platform quality engineering.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.).
8+ years of work experience in Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, or DevSecOps.
Mandatory: Strong proficiency in programming/coding and development of Test Automation Frameworks/Solutions.
Deep understanding of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, Version Control - Git) and cloud platforms like AWS.
Experience with specific tools like Cypress and API Automation is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and drive quality initiatives.
