Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Base pay range

$105,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of software applications.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop test plans.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects and issues.
• Work with the development team to ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
• Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework.
• Provide detailed reports and metrics on test results and overall software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team’s best practices for automated testing.
• Stay current with industry trends and tools in QA automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
• Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
