Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional with 8+ years in software QA and 5+ years in Salesforce testing for a contract role based in Columbus, OH. The position is fully remote within the United States, with an hourly pay range of $50.00–$60.00.

Candidates should have CSTP certification and strong experience with Postman, Ruby, and Ruby Cucumber to support test automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of programming experience with Salesforce
• 5+ years of Salesforce testing experience
• Proven ability to translate technical specs into business language
• Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases with automation

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies for multi-platform Salesforce environments
• Develop and execute test plans and cases covering functional, integration, data and security testing
• Create and maintain test automation scripts in Ruby and related tools
• Collaborate with developers, PMs and QA team to drive quality across releases

Essential Job FunctionsRequired Skills:Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing on moderate to large multi-platform environments in SalesforceProven understanding of functional, integration, data and/or security testing disciplines.Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal andexternal customers in a clear, focused and concise manner while following proper rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.Demonstrated ability to translate technical specifications into non-technical business language.Proven development of moderate to complex computer system test plans and test cases.Demonstrated ability to create test automation scripts and run automation suite in RubyProven ability to use data comparison/validation tools such as, but not limited to, Postman, Ruby Cucumber,Demonstrated experience identifying, defining and quantifying problems, collecting or interpreting data,Demonstrated experience reasoning skills in defect resolution
