Construction Department

The Construction team manages the entire process of delivering physical data centers, working closely with Sales, Operations, and management. They implement and execute work developed by the Development & Engineering team, leading build partners and ensuring alignment with operational sustainability, value engineering, and cost goals.

Position Overview

We seek an ambitious Senior Quality & Commissioning Manager (QCx Manager) to oversee quality and commissioning across multiple construction projects, fostering a positive, collaborative environment and acting as a role model in quality, safety, and standards.

The role can be based in Denver, CO, Dallas, TX, or remotely in the Central Region, with 30-50% travel expected.

Essential Job Functions

Lead all quality and commissioning activities for data center projects, ensuring systems meet performance requirements and standards, from design to handover, collaborating with design teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

Duties
  • Oversee testing, verification, and validation of critical systems (HVAC, electrical, IT).
  • Document testing and inspections related to quality and commissioning.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify installation per design and standards.
  • Resolve issues and update stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare commissioning reports and facilitate operational training.
  • Mentor team members in quality and commissioning processes.
  • Share knowledge and best practices across projects.
  • Lead development of commissioning plans, schedules, and protocols.
  • Coordinate with design and construction teams to incorporate commissioning requirements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years in Commissioning, Construction Management, Automation Systems, or related fields.
  • Expected travel less than 30%, with potential for increase.

  • Salary Range: $170,000 - $180,000 base + bonus (may vary by location).
