Job summary

Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to review and coordinate large scale projects using quantitative methods to assess care quality for members. You will work with management providing analytical advice to define project scope and resources and train staff on SAS/SQL techniques.

The role emphasizes HEDIS, Medicaid/Medicare data, and collaboration with external partners to improve performance measures and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field, health related area or Information Technology.
• 4+ years of Managed Care/Health Care experience.
• 5+ years of SAS and/or SQL development.
• 3+ years working with Medicaid and Medicare products.
• Lead large scale analysis projects.

Responsibilities

• Continually analyzes clinical quality of care performance data to identify opportunities.
• Provides technical support for data collection and submission.
• Performs quality reporting for AE related work including HEDIS analysis.
• Generates HEDIS test and production files and ensures accurate rates.
• Coordinates production of clinical quality data and reports.
• Supports intervention activities and improvement initiatives.
