Job summary

Headstream Technologies is seeking a Quality Analyst with 5+ years of software testing experience to join our US-based team. You will perform end-to-end testing, verify fixes, and contribute to quality metrics.

The role covers testing of web services, web and mobile apps within an Agile/Scrum framework. Excellent English communication is required, and a remote or hybrid work arrangement is available to fit US shift hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software testing experience.
• Proficient with bug tracking tools (Bugzilla/Jira/MS VS).
• Deep understanding of product life cycle and testing lifecycle.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development process.
• Testing experience for Web Services, web apps and mobile apps.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, black box.

• BCA/MCA/B.E/B.Tech (not a constraint for candidates with relevant experience).

Requirements

• Quality Analyst with minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Proficient in bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, Jira or MS Visual Studio with end to end testing & reporting.
• Should have deep understanding of product life cycle and application life cycle.
• Experience working in agile/scrum development process.
• Testing experience in Web Services, applications and mobile apps is a must.
• Should have good knowledge in testing methodologies like functional, Regression, compression and black box.
• Should have a good understanding of testing concepts.
• Should have experience in creating test cases, trace matrices, etc.
• SQL Knowledge is an added advantage.
• Critical thinking and analysis skills to determine security risk to data, hardware and software.
• Excellent communication skill in English.
• Should be comfortable with US Shift timings - Work From Home option will be provided.
