Quality Analyst role supports routine product and quality inspections, including packaging, troubleshooting, and reporting. The role emphasizes driving quality metrics, vendor improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Stores, Concierge, PD, Buying and Distribution teams.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related work experience in/with manufacturing/vendor setting.
  • Experience leading, developing, and managing direct reports to drive change and hit department and corporate directives.
  • Experience working within QMS systems, ownership of deviation investigations, OOS, CAPAs, and Change Controls.
  • Experience working with domestic and international factories.
  • Experience with regulatory and performance testing including CPSC, BFMA, UL, ETL, GCC.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High level of ethics, integrity, judgment and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Sr. Quality Analyst is responsible for assisting with the preparation of routine product and quality inspections (including packaging), troubleshooting, and reporting.

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

  • Prepare quarterly reporting to provide insight into quality and packaging metrics for the department and vendors
  • Create and maintain department analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Drive vendor improvements through data, accountability, and leadership.
  • Maintain, refine and/or improve processes within the area to meet customer requirements which include deadlines and quality/package standards.
  • Work with, and communicate as needed to the Stores, Concierge, PD, Buying, and the Distribution teams on issues that arise and determine next steps in order to eliminate future issues.
  • Issue vendor chargebacks as needed and determine next steps for current inventory and future production.
  • Communicate with internal and external team to ensure timely and effective problem resolution and go-forward action plan.
  • Ensure all product is received based on Arhaus SOP’s and address any discrepancies with internal/external parties.
  • Reads and understands job aids/work instructions and/or follows oral instructions to execute the overall objectives of reduced quality/packaging returns and improved customer satisfaction component flow requirements.
  • Develop and improve documentation and provide support for product testing.
  • Works on projects and continuous improvement initiatives in a self-directed manner
  • Mentor quality analyst on root cause analysis, statistical data analysis, process improvements, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and motivate up, down and across the organization to a diverse range of technical and non-technical team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as: manufacturing, quality management or a related discipline is preferred
  • 5+ years of related work experience in/with manufacturing/vendor setting.
  • Experience leading, developing, and managing direct reports to drive change and hit department and corporate directives required.
  • Experience working within QMS systems, ownership of deviation investigations, OOS, CAPAs, and Change Controls
  • Experience working with domestic and international factories required.
  • Experience with regulatory and performance, and/or transit testing which includes (but not limited to): CPSC, BFMA, UL, ETL, and GCC.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, specifically in using functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be able to balance various tasks/projects.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have a high level of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
