Job summary

MarketOnce in Denver is seeking a seasoned qualitative research manager to design studies, develop discussion guides, moderate sessions, and synthesize transcripts and video with a storytelling focus.

You will translate client objectives into creative qualitative designs, moderate online and in-person sessions, and report findings in PPT and other formats, leading discussions with clients and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of qualitative research experience.
• Portfolio with discussion guides, video clips and reports.
• Ability to translate client objectives into research designs.
• Mastery of moderation and projective techniques.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent client-management and presentation skills.
• Storytelling and reporting skills; proficiency in PowerPoint; openness to AI.
• Experience with qualitative analysis and transcription/video tools is a plus.
• Willingness to work off-hours to support client needs.
• Collaborative attitude and mentoring mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design qualitative studies for diverse clients and industries.
• Translate objectives into effective qualitative designs.
• Develop discussion guides with projective techniques and visuals.
• Moderate in-depth interviews and focus groups (in-person/online).
• Analyze transcripts and video to identify key themes and insights.
• Present qualitative findings in PPT and memos with storytelling.
• Manage qualitative vendors and recruit to spec.
• Lead client debriefs and discussions with the team.
• Provide professional development for colleagues.
• Develop and give client webinars.
