Job summary

New Era Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior QRadar Platform Engineer to own the QRadar deployment, oversee health, performance, and architecture, and partner with the security team.

The role combines hands-on engineering with leadership, roadmap input, and mentoring of the SIEM team to ensure scalability and reliability. You will maintain high availability, drive integrations, and lead data retention strategies while enabling a secure, compliant environment for the client.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QRadar engineer/architect in production
• Onboard and troubleshoot log sources, DSMs, and normalization
• Optimize performance: EPS/FPM, indexing, searches and dashboards
• Develop and maintain QRadar standards and best practices
• Lead integrations across security and infra teams
• Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud log sources, and security tools

Responsibilities

• Own QRadar health, monitoring, and stability across deployment
• Onboard sources, configure DSMs, validate data collection and parsing
• Tune performance, improve throughput, reduce bottlenecks
• Manage data retention, storage costs, and noise reduction
• Design dashboards and reports, optimize AQL queries
• Apply patches and maintain system security and compliance
• Onboard users, manage access, prepare training materials
• Lead architecture, HA/DR planning, capacity and growth
