Job summary

New Era Technology seeks a Senior QRadar Platform Engineer to own and lead the IBM QRadar platform across health, architecture, integrations, roadmap, and operations. This hands-on role requires mentoring the SIEM team and delivering scalable, resilient security infrastructure in collaboration with the customer’s security team.

Qualifications

• Expert-level QRadar deployment design and administration.
• Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise QRadar deployments.
• Strong knowledge of QRadar architecture components and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in AQL, dashboards, and content development for security ops.
• Experience integrating diverse log sources and data pipelines at scale.
• Ability to lead integration efforts across security and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Own QRadar health, monitoring, and platform stability across components.
• Onboard log sources, configure parsing, DSMs, and normalization.
• Tune performance: indices, EPS/FPM, search pipelines for scale.
• Manage data retention and optimization to balance security value and cost.
• Build dashboards/reports and optimize database/search performance.
• Apply patches and maintain the system; onboard new users with training.
