This remote role requires 70% travel domestically and internationally; DoD Secret clearance is required; candidates should have AATT certification or be eligible to certify as AA/AEA within one year.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent; 8+ years relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• 8+ years in quality assurance with at least 5 years in QMS auditing in aerospace/defense.
• Familiarity with 91XX series and ISO 9001 standards.
• AATT Certification (evidence required).
• Ability to certify within one year as an Aerospace Auditor (AA) or Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret DoD clearance.

Aufgaben

• Plan, lead, and conduct second party QMS audits for 91XX/ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead audit activities: planning, opening/closing meetings, and site coordination.
• Ensure processes, products, and services meet internal standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Support site surveillance and cross-site audits; travel as required.
• Participate in weekly Corrective Action Review Board meetings.
