Job summary

Mars is seeking a Quality & Food Safety (QFS) partner to lead technical adherence to global quality standards for the Roaster Portfolio projects at our site in the United States. You will be the face of QFS in R&D, ensuring GMP, ISO and GFSI compliance while guiding environmental monitoring and risk mitigation across initiatives.

The role requires a BS with food safety/engineering background and experience in HACCP, GMP, and regulatory compliance, within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related technical field or equivalent
• Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001:2008, and GFSI systems (SQF/BRC/FSSC22000/ISO9000)
• Familiarity with GMP, allergens, sanitation and regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as key QFS stakeholder for Roaster Portfolio projects ensuring adherence to Quality & Food Safety Standards and Regulations.
• Lead QFS input for engineering-related projects within the site and participate in CVS, Handover, and PRP reviews.
• Define and oversee mitigation strategies to minimize risks including environmental monitoring, sampling and sanitation procedures.
• Lead QFS inputs for Asset Health Check, Change Management and Technical Risk Management.
• Deliver the quality agenda throughout the CVS process and coordinate QFS activities.
