Job summary

AAON is seeking a HVAC Test Technician to perform tests on commercial systems, verify quality, and document results. You will coordinate daily testing, train new staff, and ensure safety and compliance with standards.

The role requires hands-on testing, ability to work with engineers, and maintaining precise records to support production schedules and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum vocational/technical training required for entry-level work.
• EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant license preferred.
• 0–5 years industry experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily testing activities and assign tasks.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines.
• Ensure quality control standards are consistently met.
• Maintain accurate testing records and reports.
• Train new employees and onboard.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers and other departments.
• Lead team meetings and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate activities with employees and other departments to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Trains new employees.
• Complete leaks repair and Freon handling per specs.
• Operate test units and verify engineering specifications.
