Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking a QC Manager & Site Safety and Health Officer for on-site duties at Anniston Army Depot, AL. Responsibilities include enforcing safety programs, reviewing submittals, preparing reports, and coordinating with government representatives to ensure compliance with plans and codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years on federal government projects.
• Experience with OSHA, EM 385-1-1 and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to obtain GSA/military base passes and operate on military installations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for field and management.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce quality control and safety plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all materials, workmanship, and repairs comply with contract, plans, specifications, and codes.
• Review and approve submittals; perform daily inspections of the work.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports; monitor project progress.
• Create and enforce project-specific Quality Control and Accident Prevention Plans.
• Lead safety meetings, conduct JHA reviews, and supervise site safety programs.
• Coordinate with government QAR representatives and manage third-party testing.
