Job summary

Corium Innovations is seeking a Quality Control Scientist to perform benchwork, analytical data review, method validation/verification drafting and execution, and laboratory investigations. Grow with a team delivering innovative healthcare products and partner with cross-functional groups in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a minimum of five years in analytical pharma, expertise with chromatographic techniques (HPLC/GC/UV-Vis/FTIR), and strong problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FDA cGMP, QSR, ISO, and quality assurance principles.
• Experience in method validation/verification and investigation of OOS events.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate drug, medical device, cosmetic products and raw materials using HPLC, GC, Dissolution, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other chemical, physical, and mechanical testing methodologies.
• Execute general laboratory control procedures including document control, filing, and controlled sample records.
• Create written procedures, methods, and instructions for laboratory activities.
• Perform investigations to ensure effective review of OOS situations in a timely manner.
• Analyze data, perform process studies, and determine actions with appropriate assistance.
• Communicate quality information accurately and promptly.
