Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a QC Senior Scientist I to join the Quality Control Group in Carlsbad, CA. The role includes supporting raw material and product testing, data trending, and audit readiness within a fast-paced biopharma environment.

The candidate will apply analytical methods such as HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, qPCR/ddPCR, CE-SDS, and cell culture, while adhering to cGMP and QA/QC systems. Collaboration with internal/external teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or Life Science required.
• 6–10 years of biopharma experience is expected.
• Experience with analytical methods and GMP documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily QC operations to ensure material and product testing are completed on time.
• Maintain readiness for client audits and inspections.
• Assist in SOP changes, spec revisions, and data trending.
