Job summary

Kratos Microwave, Inc. is seeking a QC/QA Inspector 3 to perform incoming, in-process and final inspections at their Folsom, CA site. The role emphasizes clear communication, adherence to Mil-Std-883 and IPC-A-610 standards, and generating conformance documentation.

Qualified candidates have at least 10 years of inspection experience in MIC manufacturing and are able to train junior staff while coordinating with purchasing, manufacturing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 10 years of inspection experience.
• Proficiency with Mil-Std-883 (2010/2017) and ANSI Y14.5 standards.
• Experience with J-STD-001 / IPC-A-610 soldering standards.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
• Ability to administer training to inspectors and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process and final visual and mechanical inspections.
• Verify documentation and counts of products inspected.
• Conduct Mil-Std-883 and J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 inspections.
• Generate Certificates of Conformance and close discrepant material reports.
• Interface with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and customers.
