Job summary

APTIM Federal Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to support remediation and site restoration at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enforcing the QC program across task orders.

The candidate should have 5+ years of QC management experience, CQM-C certification, OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, and a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental field, with strong interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental field or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of QC management experience in remediation/restoration projects.
• CQM-C certification for contractors.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with up-to-date 8-hour refresher.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA/QC objectives with PM, Site Supervisor, and on-site staff.
• Review all project work plans, Sampling & Analysis Plans, and Health & Safety Plans.
• Conduct Three Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up) for defined work features.
• Enforce contract compliance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
• Coordinate with the Site Safety and Health Officer on hazards and safety violations.
• Prepare and submit clear and concise Daily QC reports.
• Maintain adherence to company safety and quality programs.
