Job summary

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is seeking a Construction QC Engineer II in Havertown, PA to ensure quality control during field work and report development for groundwater and treatment plant remediation projects.

The role is primarily field-based, requiring collaboration with project teams to meet contract standards, regulatory criteria and safety guidelines. A Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications, plus 5 years of field QC experience, are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Engineering, quality, or environmental credential (EIT/CQA/EPI) or PE license or ability to attain.
• HAZWOPER 40 Hour Certification with current 8 Hour Refresher
• USACE Contractor Quality Management for Contractors certification
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in field QC on construction and treatment plant projects

Responsibilities

• Report to the field to perform, inspect, and oversee fieldwork.
• Oversee and review work of personnel to ensure compliance with plans and tolerances.
• Ensure testing is completed by qualified personnel with calibrated equipment.
• Ensure contract requirements and measurement/pay of items.
• Prepare work progress estimates with Project Controls and maintain documentation.
• Document results and support procedural adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate with PM, Superintendent, HSE, QC, Project Controls, Estimating, and Contracts.
• Prepare project and field submittals within budget, including QC reports.
• Apply industry standards and regulatory codes to environmental and field methods.
• Participate in team project meetings.
