is seeking a Quality Control Lead to manage the day-to-day quality workflow in a designated plant and shift. The role focuses on maintaining quality systems, gauging, equipment, and processes while coaching production operators and technicians on inspection methods and control plans. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of QC experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Quality Control experience in high-volume manufacturing preferred (automotive or similar).
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience using measurement techniques such as hand gauges and equipment (CMM).
• Knowledge of basic mathematics including decimals, fractions, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Knowledge of production drawings, GD&T, and dimensional call outs.
• Experience or ability to learn statistical calculations for process control and gauge qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality workflow and coaching for technicians.
• Maintain quality systems in the designated production area (gauging, equipment, processes).
• Validate and audit critical products and processes per control plan.
• Recruit and train Quality Control Technicians and manage training matrix.
• Coordinate inspection coverage with Operations and report gaps to leadership.
• Perform MSAs and gauge setups; ensure correct gauging at point of use.
