Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston seeks a Quality Control Supervisor to lead QC inspectors, oversee in-process and final inspections of relay panels, ICPs, and electrical control panels, and ensure compliance with customer drawings and applicable codes.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to drive corrective actions, coordinate FATs, and work with engineering to resolve issues; NEC, NEMA, UL standards familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Over seven years of work experience as a Quality Control Supervisor or similar role.
• Experience with quality control procedures and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, weld maps, weld symbols, PFDs, P&IDs, and related mechanical/electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC inspectors performing in-process and final inspections.
• Review engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, cable schedules, and customer specifications.
• Verify panel construction, component installation, wiring, labeling, routing, termination, grounding, and workmanship.
• Coordinate FAT activities with Engineering, Production, Testing, and the customer.
• Identify, document, and disposition nonconformances/NCRs.
• Promote a quality-at-the-source culture and prevent defects downstream.
