Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a QC Supervisor – Analytical Chemistry to lead the QC analytical lab in Horsham, PA. The role combines hands-on testing with team leadership, guiding chemists, overseeing method development, and ensuring investigations and data integrity.

Ideal candidates bring strong pharma analytics experience, a deep understanding of CGMP and regulatory expectations, and the ability to collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Development and clients to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years pharma analytical lab with increasing responsibility; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience leading QC or pharma laboratory teams.
• Hands-on cGMP experience in a pharmaceutical lab.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, USP, ICH and cGMP requirements.
• Experience with method development, validation, and transfer.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections or client audits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced CDMO.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership of QC analytical activities.
• Mentor and develop QC chemists and analysts with feedback.
• Plan workload to meet testing and project timelines.
• Serve as technical resource for complex analytical issues and investigations.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in testing when needed.
• Oversee method development, transfer, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Review methods, protocols, reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Support stability programs, equipment qualification, calibration, maintenance.
• Investigate atypical results, deviations, and OOS/OOT events.
• Provide technical support for assay, impurities, dissolution, and content testing.
• Maintain instrumentation knowledge (HPLC, dissolution, ICP-MS, UV/Vis, GC).
• Ensure documentation is complete and CGMP-compliant.
• Support client audits, regulatory inspections, and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Development, and Project Management.
• Interact with clients as a technical representative when appropriate.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data integrity.
