Job summary

MSD in Delaware is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician, Quality Control/Senior QC Lab Tech to perform advanced testing of veterinary biologicals, adhering to GMP, SOPs, and safety policies in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will operate analytical instruments, perform cell culture and microbiological assays, write investigations, and support project teams while maintaining meticulous records and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMP/GLPs and SOPs in a QC lab.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and lab techniques.
• Proven documentation practices and recordkeeping.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve method issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing methods using cell culture, substrates, and viruses per QC procedures.
• Write laboratory investigations and perform data review.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits.
• Train others on methods and procedures.
• Ensure proper waste labeling and hazardous waste management.
