Job summary

Threshold-Enterprise in Scotts Valley, CA seeks a Laboratory Analyst II to perform skilled analytical testing, supervise Laboratory Analyst I staff, and coordinate sample flow across production and development teams.

Role includes training, data review, and support for method development with emphasis on instrument-based analyses (HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and related techniques) in a dynamic QA/QC environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year post-graduation experience in three of: HPLC, TLC, FTIR, UV-VIS, GC, GC-MS, ICP/ICP MS or LC-MS.
• Strong project coordination, leadership and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to train and mentor Laboratory Analyst I staff and collaborate with management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, inspect and test raw materials and finished goods using lab equipment and procedures.
• Coordinate projects, daily sample flow and assignments; troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Assist with method development and advanced analytical testing as needed.
• Review analytical results and data; contribute to dispositions for materials.
• Support cGMP compliance, training, scheduling and supervision of staff.
