Job summary

PLZ Corp is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to lead testing of raw materials and in-process batches, using GC, IR, and HPLC, while collaborating with Quality Assurance and Operations to support quality and operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering and 5–7 years of analytical laboratory experience, with strong instrument proficiency and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in analytical or laboratory roles.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation and method development.

Responsibilities

• Test incoming raw materials and in-process batches per SOPs.
• Communicate pass/fail results and note out-of-spec parameters.
• Provide recommendations for re-work or re-blend to meet specs.
• Maintain instruments and calibrations; prepare lab reports.
• Write, follow, and maintain SOPs; interface with customer teams.
