Job summary

Tindall Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Control Inspector Level 3 in Buchanan, GA. The role conducts pre-pour and post-pour inspections, performs concrete testing, and ensures curing controls meet shop cards.

Ideal candidates hold PCI/ACI certification and will follow safety and quality rules to deliver high-quality precast concrete products. Responsibilities include inspecting bed set-ups, identifying nonconformances, and coordinating with engineering for approval or repair work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCI/ACI certification preferred.
• Must follow Safety and Quality rules.
• Inspect bed set-up per shop drawings and reinforce placement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bed set-up according to shop drawings for reinforcement placement.
• Note nonconforming items and notify proper personnel to bring product into conformance.
• Perform concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
• Set-up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperature.
• Monitor finishing procedures in finishing shed.
• Inspect final products, note nonconformances and notify Engineering for approval or repair work order.
• Tag conforming products with green tags and nonconforming products with red tags; coordinate repairs as needed.
