Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer known for its emphasis on safety and quality. This role involves performing pre-pour and post-pour inspections, conducting concrete tests, and ensuring products meet shop card tolerances and PCI standards.

You will inspect reinforcement placement, document nonconformances, and coordinate with Engineering for approvals, while monitoring curing and finishing processes to deliver high-quality precast elements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure concrete members meet tolerances as per shop cards and PCI.
• Performs concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
• Inspects bed set-up according to shop drawings for proper reinforcement placement.
• Notes nonconforming items and notifies proper personnel to bring product into conformance.
• Checks red tagged members after repair to ensure conformance with Engineering's requirements.
• All non-conformances for engineering approval are to be drawn up and submitted in writing.
• Monitors finishing procedures in the finishing shed.
