Job summary

Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee QC engineers, perform inspections and surveillance for project work and maintenance activities.

You will lead QC efforts, coordinate with construction management, and ensure quality requirements are met. Requirements include a technical degree with extensive inspection experience, strong supervisory and communication skills, and familiarity with project quality programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 8–10 years of practical experience in construction inspection or related areas.
• Associate’s degree with 10–12 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent.
• High school diploma with 12–16 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent.
• Well-developed organizational and supervisory skills and good communication talents are required.
• Certification in areas of Responsibility are required with ongoing programmatic training per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct quality control engineers on inspections and surveillance.
• Provide QC support to construction management and direct personnel to implement quality requirements and accurately status results.
• Establish priorities to support construction/operation needs.
• Resolve complex problems during quality activities by coordinating with internal and external departments.
• Provide leadership to inspire efficiency, safe work habits, timely information exchange, and adherence to site policies.
• Participate in contract discussions relating to quality activities.
• Prepare comprehensive status reports for construction quality activities.
• Review and approve subcontractors’ quality procedures and monitor adherence.
• Coordinate QC activities with other construction departments to ensure compliance with site specs and standards.
• Prepare QC procedures to ensure proper inspection, testing and surveillance.
• Provide effective quality training programs and ensure personnel are qualified to perform tasks.
• Prepare performance evaluations of assigned personnel.
