Job summary

The role involves validating requirements and ensuring quality across the development lifecycle, with onsite interviews. You will write manual and automated tests, develop test strategies, and collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to ensure proper coverage and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of software testing experience.
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, ACCELQ).
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases (functional, automation, integration, regression).
• Execute manual and automated tests, track defects, ensure resolution with proper documentation.
• Automate test cases using test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform cross-browser, usability testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Document test results, maintain test artifacts.
• Use defect tracking tools (JIRA) and manage defect lifecycle.
• Ensure and follow all DC Government security standards.
