Job summary

NCR Atleos in Atlanta, GA seeks a QA Test Engineer to lead ATM software and hardware testing on the Professional Services team. You’ll own test plans, execute on-site testing at customer locations, and help move the team toward automation while coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders.

You will work in a hybrid environment, travel up to 50% across the U.S., and engage in Agile ceremonies to deliver testing throughout sprints and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of software or hardware testing experience.
• Experience writing test plans and test cases.
• Experience reporting status to stakeholders.
• Hands-on testing hardware, software or both.
• Experience with Agile and sprint work.

Responsibilities

• Create and own test plans, cases and scripts for ATM applications and hardware.
• Run manual functional and regression testing on ATMs.
• Perform volume, performance and reliability testing as needed.
• Report testing status, risks and progress to stakeholders.
• Communicate directly with customers during on-site engagements.
• Set up and maintain test environments and labs.
• Find, document and track defects; assist debugging.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and own sprint deliverables.
• Help define automation strategy as testing moves to automation.
