Job summary

ArrowCore Group is seeking an experienced QA Professional to support software and mobile application testing initiatives in Chattanooga, TN. You will drive test planning, execution, and validation across the SDLC, developing manual test cases to increase regression coverage and execute ad-hoc testing as needed.

You will collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues, create testing data, and ensure high-quality deliverables across software and hardware test artifacts.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience testing web-based software applications.
• Experience using SQL to extract, modify and add data to SQL Server databases.
• Knowledge and application of structured testing concepts, methodologies, and tools.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile software development methodology.
• Creative, detail-oriented and a problem solver.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and driven; takes ownership of personal and team goals.
• Able to excel with limited supervision in a rapidly changing environment under aggressive timelines.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop manual test cases to increase regression coverage and new functionality testing.
• Execute manual test cases including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed.
• Document and review testing results with Developers and Business Analysts to resolve issues.
• Develop and create testing data for manual tests.
• Perform configurations and deployments to manage your testing system for successful results.
• Manage testing to project timelines.
• Participate in Agile project flow and provide testing feedback, highlighting high-risk areas.
