Job summary

Kardow in the United States is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician 3 to ensure our information systems products meet standards and end-user needs. The role involves leading tests, creating test data, documenting issues, and reporting progress to management.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply problem-solving skills to improve procedures, and coordinate with writers. Weekend and extended hours are part of the schedule, reflecting project realities and the need for timely quality

Qualifications

• Ability to read Vision and Scopes/Requirements/User Stories to create functional test cases.
• UAT testing experience.
• Healthcare knowledge.
• Ability to lead and host meetings.
• End to End Project support (Grooming, UAT, PPV support).
• Problem solving skills to support defect resolution.
• There will be weekend and outside normal working hour expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
• May create test data for applications.
• Documents and works to resolve all complex problems.
• Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
• Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.
• Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers.
• Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
• Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects.
• Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
