Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to join our EPC team in McCarran, NV. The role serves as the owner’s quality representative, ensuring construction adherence to design, specifications, and codes across the full project lifecycle from design through turnover.

Responsibilities include leading QA/QC functions, coordinating internal and third-party inspectors, developing ITPs, and maintaining QA documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; alternate technical diploma with field experience considered
• Strong leadership and mentoring ability with QA/QC personnel
• Experience reading civil/structural/piping drawings and ITPs
• Ability to coordinate third-party inspections and QA/QC activities
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and AWS D1.1 is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the project QA/QC function and oversee inspectors and third-party personnel
• Review drawings and specs to identify constructability concerns before construction
• Develop project-specific Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and schedule third-party inspections
• Manage relationships with inspection agencies and align with project needs
• Conduct daily site walks to identify risks and document findings
• Verify installed systems per design and maintain quality protocols
• Audit turnover documentation (MTRs, weld maps/logs, PWHT, NDT)
• Track quality metrics and support issue resolution on site
